The Head of Loyalty to Resistance bloc, MP Mohamad Raad, on Friday criticized harshly the statements condemning the fresh decision of the military court to release former minister Michel Samaha, saying they were frivolous and discretionary.
"Programmed statements objecting to the decision of the Lebanese judiciary to release Samaha are nothing but an expression of vex and petulance," Raad said.
"The position of that camp from the military justice and the Court of Cassation is swerving; they sometimes agree on the verdicts, while reject others," he added.
"Justice entails to reconsider the enforced laws," he concluded.
Lebanese Military Court approved on Thursday the release of former minister Michel Samaha.
Samaha has been under arrest since August 2012 over allegations that he transported explosives and planned attacks and assassinations of political and religious figures in Lebanon.
