US-led coalition as well as Russia has been bombing the terrorist group’s oil fields, supply lines and cash stores since October, and an order released little over a month later appears to show the tactic having an effect.

“So on account of the exceptional circumstances ISIL is facing, it has been decided to reduce the salaries that are paid to all mujahideen by half, and it is not allowed for anyone to be exempted from this decision, whatever his position,” the paper quoted ISIL order.

“Let it be known that work will continue to distribute provisions twice every month as usual.”

It is worth noting that ISIL terrorist group has lost swathes of the territories it occupied in its major offense in Iraq in 2014.

The Syrian army, supported by the defense committees and the Russian warplanes, managed to push the terrorist group back in most of the provinces, including Damascus countryside and Aleppo.

In Iraq, the army and popular committees liberated most of the cities that ISIL controlled, preparing to regain the rest of the militant-held areas.
