Severe clashes rocked the region between the army and gunmen till dawn on Monday, but the army managed to score a number of injuries in the gunmen ranks.

The Lebanese army has been confronting the terrorist groups along the northeastern border since the eruption of the Syrian groups in 2011, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
