Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah is to deliver a speech via al-Manar TV on Friday evening.
Hezbollah’s Media Relations announced that Sayyed Nasrallah’s speech, which will take place at 8:30 p.m., is to tackle the presidential elections in Lebanon.
Lebanon has been gripped by presidential vacuum since May 2014, with political powers in the country have been failing to agree on a president.
Hezbollah’s official candidate for presidency is the Change and Reform bloc chief, General Michel Aoun.
Al-Mustaqbal movement leader ex-PM Saad Hariri launched late in 2015 a proposal to nominate Marada Movement chief MP Suleiman Franjieh, Hezbollah’s ally in March 8 coalition, as president.
However, Lebanese Forces Chief Samir Geagea, Hariri's ally in the March 14 camp, expressed last week his backing to Aoun, Geagea’s long-time rival, for the presidency.
