PM Tammam Salam hoped that all political forces "would go for activating cabinet work and surpassing any sort of sensitivity and personal interest in favor of protecting the country."

Salam's words came Thursday in the context of a medical conference held at the Grand Serail.

The conference has been launched by Public Health Ministry, in presence of Public Health Minister Wael Abu Faour and a number of ministers and deputies as well as ranking dignitaries.

The premier hailed Abu Faour's performance before he went on explaining the bad effect of the local political crisis on economic life.
