Hezbollah issued a statement commenting on head of the Future Party Saad Hariri’s statement, considering that the latter had rushed in taking his stance, like he always did.
“Head of the Future Party Saad Hariri had rushed, like he and his officials always did, in adopting the content of a fabricated, lying interview in the Time magazine; so he hastened to base on it, and built misleading political analyses that were far from reality,” the statement indicated.
“This increases our suspicion that his statement is part of the media fabrications of stories released and supported by the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, to intensify the lies that would conceal the truth.”
The statement published by Hezbollah Media Relations further stated: “Hezbollah has issued a statement revealing the falsity behind the TIME magazine reporter’s claims of conducting the mentioned interview.”
“Moreover, what Hariri based on is a lie and a slander, and so his conclusions and political estimations are void, because they were based on a something void. This is a sample of what the Future Party and its president use to blackout the truth.”
The former Lebanese PM had rushed to issue a statement Saturday, slamming the Lebanese government, as well as its security and judicial apparatuses after the TIME magazine’s claims.
Basing his political information on the “interview”, Saad Hariri said: “It seems none of them wants to hear, read, see, or talk about anything linked to Hezbollah and their dominance over the government’s decision.
