A Hezbollah delegation offered condolences over the death of iconic voice of Arabic journalism, Mohammad Hassanein Haikal at Omar Makram Mosque in Egypt’s Cairo.
The delegation conveyed the condolences of Resistance leader, Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah to the Egyptian journalist’s family, Hezbollah Media Relations said in a statement Tuesday.
The delegation included the party’s Media Relations Chief, Mohammad Afif, Arab Relations official, Sheikh Hasan Ezziddine and Loyalty to Resistance member, MP Ali Meqdad, the statement said.
Sheikh Ezziddine praised Haikal as one of the supporters of resistance against the Zionist entity.
“The Arab world has lost one of the valuable figures, not only in Journalism, but also in defending the nation’s causes, on top of which are the Palestinian cause and the resistance.” Sheikh Ezziddine said.
