Ali: We have to continue this road to be among those who pave the way for the State of Imam Mahdi.
Martyr Ali Ahmad Al-Dorr
Ali Ahmad Al-Dorr was born in Berlin/Germany on the 15th of August, 1980, but was originally from the Southern village of Majdal Zoun.
His family lived in a high social and financial level.
When Ali was 10-years-old, he started attending one of the mosques in Germany and listening to lectures there, until he started getting deeply influenced by one of the scholars of that mosque. When Ali was 12-years-old, his family decided to return to Lebanon.
He left the third secondary level in school when he was 16-years-old to join the Islamic Resistance.
Ali was known for his calm, faithful character. He was fun and tolerant, forgiving, and was a fun company.
He was brave, respectful to different and opposing points of views, and used to adapt with everyone.
Everyone who knew Ali loved him, and got attached to him, and when he was martyred, everyone was affected.
His deep faith had a great influence on his family, as he was the first family member who performed prayers, fasted, supplicated and attended religious lectures
Ali was also strongly attached to the Quran and its teachings and to Sayyeda Fatima Al-Zahraa whom he called his daughter “Zahraa” after.
After joining the Islamic Resistance, Ali underwent various military courses so that he would be able to confront the enemy in all possible ways.
In the battlefield:
Less than one year after Ali’s marriage, the capturing operation took place and the Israeli outrageous war against Lebanon broke out. He asked his wife to prepare his bag and reminded her of Sayyeda Zainab who was the one to get the horse for Imam Hussein (as) in Ashura.
He bid farewell to his family and went to fulfill his duty in the battlefield.
On the 4th day of war, Ali lost contact with his military commander, and when he went out of his location, an Israeli reconnaissance aircraft detected his movement and bombarded the region.
Ali was instantly martyred along with his friend.
His body remained in the battlefield until the war was over.
