Imam Khamenei: Quds Day, Cry for Right Among Dominating Silence

Iran’s Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei reassured that the significance of International Al-Quds Day lies in the just rights that people express on this occasion.

Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei stated that Al-Quds day is a major international and Islamic day in which the Iranian as well as the Islamic people call for their just rights that were suppressed by the arrogant powers throughout the past 60 years.

Imam Khamenei assured, in presence of delegations of university professors and scientists, that International Al-Quds Day is a cry for the right among a dominant state of silence that the arrogant authorities used all their power to impose.

He recalled that announcing the International Al-Quds Day by the Islamic Republic of Iran, inaugurating the Palestinian Embassy, and closing the Zionist Embassy in Tehran were responses to six decades of conspiracies that the colonialism have executed to erase Palestine off international geography.

Leader of the Islamic Republic further emphasized that “Al-Quds day supports national security… every Iranian who attends the rallies on this occasion is in fact supporting national security and the revolution’s achievements.”

His eminence assured that this year Al-Quds Day will be celebrated in wider and huger forms in Iran and other Islamic countries, indicating the developments taking place in the region.

“One of these developments’ results was that it confirmed the ineffectiveness of the Western political and economic theories, and so we have to propose the Islamic alternative,” he said.

Moreover, the leader considered that the international developments that Iran has achieved were the basic elements for the Iranian people’s firmness and resistance.

“All the military, security, social, and political threats that Iran is being exposed to continuously, as well as the assassination of its scholars and the embargo imposed on it, aim at forcing Iran to submit to the authority seekers, but the Iranian people have said “no” to all these threats.”
