Hamas movement representative in Lebanon Ali Barake said that Al-Quds day was the international day of solidarity with Palestine and Al-Quds, and highlighted that the Palestinian cause was the cause of all the free men of the world. He warned that Al-Quds was in danger.

In an exclusive interview with Al-Manar Website, Barake noted that commemorating the day from the resistant border town of Maroun Al-Rass constitutes a clear proof of the support of the Lebanese people and the Islamic Resistance to the Palestinian cause, and another assertion that the blood of the martyrs will not go in vain, but instead, will result in victory.

While stressing that victory became more imminent than ever, he expressed belief that the Arab revolutions were in the interest of Palestine and Al-Quds. He said that these revolutions can only be at the side of Palestine, given that Al-Quds liberation cannot be achieved amid regimes having ties with the Zionist enemy.

He said that the announcement of the Palestinian state would not be achieved before the liberation of Palestine. He called on Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas to return to the Jihad and Resistance axis. He highlighted that the enemy only understands the language of force.

CAUSE OF ALL FREE MEN
Hamas movement representative in Lebanon Ali Barake told Al-Manar Website that Al-Quds Day was the day of international solidarity with Palestine and Al-Quds. “It is the day set by late Imam Khomeini (ika) in the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan to stress the unity of Muslims and confirm that the Palestinian cause was the central one,” he said.

Barake said that the Palestinian cause was the cause of all free men in the world. He noted that the Zionist enemy was the enemy of humanity. “This extremist entity practices terrorism against all sanctities without distinction,” he pointed out.

Barake called on all free men to mark Al-Quds day and express solidarity with the Palestinian cause, amid the Zionist campaign targeting religious sanctities as well as the Palestinian human and land. He warned that the Zionist entity was carrying out a scheme to Judaize Al-Quds and to change its aspects to become the capital of the claimed Jewish entity. “Al-Quds is in danger,” he said.

MAROUN AL-RAS BLOOD WILL NOT GO IN VAIN
Barake spoke of the activities organized by the Palestinian factions to mark the day. He pointed to the central march which would take place in Saida, the capital of the South, following Friday’s prayers. “It confirms that the Palestinian cause is the cause of the whole nation, and reiterates the unity of the Lebanese and Palestinian nations,” he said.

While noting that the Palestinian factions would also take part in the central ceremony organized by Hezbollah in the border town of Maroun Al-Ras, he pointed to the semantics of the location. “Maroun Al-Ras is a resistance town that was able to overthrow the Zionist invasion in 2006. It is also where six Palestinian youth were martyred on May 15, confirming the Palestinian people’s commitment in their land and right of return.”

RESISTANCE SECT WILL LIBERATE PALESTINE
Hamas movement representative in Lebanon said that the bet is on the Palestinian people and the nation as a whole. “We believe in our just and fair cause,” he said, as he hailed the Islamic nation’s commitment to the Palestinian cause. He expressed belief Arab revolutions would be at the end of the day an interest for Al-Quds and Palestine. “We need a free nation that can liberate Al-Quds and Palestine,” he said.

Returning to the Egyptian revolution, he said that the Zionist enemy’s officials have admitted losing a “fortune” when President Hosni Mubarak was overthrown. “We say that we have gained Egypt right now,” he added. He noted that the return of Egypt to the region makes the awaited victory even closer. “These revolutions can only be at the side of Palestine, as Al-Quds liberation cannot be achieved amid regimes that have ties with the Zionist entity,” he said.

He stressed that the Resistance sect will liberated Palestine. He explained that the Aqsa Mosque will be liberated through a war and fight, not negotiations.

ENEMY ONLY UNDERSTANDS LANGUAGE OF FORCE
To conclude, Barake tackled the much-awaited challenge related to the Palestinian membership within the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). He said that the recognition of the Palestinian state would only become true following the liberation. He expressed belief that the American administration alongside the Zionist entity will not allow the UNSC to accept the membership of the Palestinian state. He noted that Washington will prevent such scenario and will resort to the veto right to achieve its goal.

Barake called Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas “Brother Abu Mazen” and “the brothers in the Palestine Liberation Organization leadership” to return to the Jihad and resistance square. “Palestine’s liberation will only take place through resistance,” he said. “The enemy only understands the language of force,” he stressed, as he recalled the Lebanese experience. “The resolution 425 was issued in 1978, but the Israeli occupation withdrew from the Lebanese land only in 2000, thanks to the Resistance,” he said.

Barake concluded that the resistance was the only path leading to the liberation of the land. He saluted all free men in this world, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Lebanese nation and the Islamic Resistance, which has offered lots of sacrifices for the interest of Lebanon and Palestine. “Victory will be imminent, God Willing”.
