Tunisian Foreign Minister, Khamis Al-Jehinawi, stressed on Thursday that the statement issued after the meeting of Arab Interior Ministers does not express the Tunisian position, stating that it is not valid for endorsement.
"Such resolutions are made after consultation between the President and the Prime Minister, and announced by the Foreign Ministry and not by the Ministry of Interior," Al-Jehinawi said.
The Tunisian official underlined that ties with Lebanon and Iran are very developed, and the vote of the Interior Minister for the above mentioned statement was nothing more than Arab consensus.
