Israeli occupation forces killed a Palestinian woman after she had allegedly attempted to stab Israelis police in al-Quds, occupation authorities said.

Israeli occupation forces killed a Palestinian woman after she had allegedly attempted to stab Israelis police in al-Quds, occupation authorities said.

Israeli police claimed the woman moved toward border police officers, pulled a knife from her bag and sought to stab them near Damascus Gate, the main entrance used by Palestinians to enter the walled Old City.

The woman was said to be around 50 years old, Israeli media reported.

The incident occurred hours before US Vice President Joe Biden was due to arrive for talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas.

The occupied territories have been, since October 1, rocked by a wave of operations against Zionists in retaliation of the Israeli repressive measures against the Palestinians across the West Bank and especially in al-Quds.

Zionist settlers backed by occupation forces have been repeatedly storming the holy al-Aqsa Mosque, sparking Palestinian anger.

However the occupation forces have been brutally attacking the Palestinians under the pretext of staging stabbing attacks.

The Palestinian operations since the start of October have killed 28 Israelis, while the Israeli occupation forces killed 182 Palestinians.
