Yemen’s revolutionary movement, Ansarullah stressed that reports on Yemen-Saudi talks are attempt to divert attention from Riyadh’s failure in its aggression on the Arab impoverished country.

The head of the movement's politburo, Saleh Al-Sammad, said that the Saudi-led aggression has committed horrible crimes against the Yemeni people, in a bid to force them to surrender. Saleh Sammad

However, Yemenis were steadfast as they confronted the aggression with much patience, Sammad said, few days before the first anniversary of the Saudi-led war against Yemen in March 25.

“Despite the land, sea and air blockade on Yemen, the Yemenis conquered the invaders through their sacrifices and heroic confrontations,” the Yemeni official said.

Meanwhile, Sammad said that Ansarullah was really engaged in talks with the Saudis, but stressed that the talks were aimed at reaching an end to the brutal aggression against the Yemenis.

In this context, Sammad noted that media outlets, and especially those funded by Riyadh, were trying to show that the talks were in favor of Saudi, stressing that such reports are an attempt to divert attention from the losses inflicted upon the Saudis in Yemen.

Yemen has been since March 26, 2015 under brutal aggression by Saudi-led coalition.
Thousands have been martyred and injured in the attack, with the vast majority of them are civilians.

Riyadh launched the attack on Yemen in a bid to restore power to fugitive president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi who is a close ally to Saudi Arabia.

However, Yemeni army, backed by the committees has been engaged in battles with Saudi-led mercenaries and Hadi’s militias in several areas across the country.
