Jaberi Ansari described the chemical attack by ISIL terrorists on Taza Khurmatu, south of Kirkuk province in northern Iraq, a heinous act, a crime against humanity, and strongly condemned it.
Jaberi Ansari expressed sympathy with the families of the victims of the chemical attacks and the Iraqi nation and government, adding the crime ring the alarm of international community to effectively and decisively adopt a clear policy on dealing with terrorist and takfiri groups, in particular ISIL, to provide necessary ground for the fight against terrorism.
The suspected mustard gas attack targeted the town of Taza in Kirkuk Province, northern Iraq, on March 9 from the nearby village of Bashir, which is under the control of ISIL.
The number of people attacked with mustard gas in Taza Khurmatu, south of Kirkuk province, have exceeded 400 people.
