Israeli occupation authorities overnight demolished the home of a Palestinian who was martyred killed after allegedly fatally stabbing an Israeli settler in the West Bank city of al-Khalil.
Palestinians threw stones at soldiers who arrived to demolish the apartment of Ihab Maswada, while the soldiers fired stun grenades, AFP news agency reported.
No one was in the apartment at the time. Palestinian media reported that Israeli forces forced family members to leave.
Zionist authorities say that Maswada stabbed Genadi Kaufman, 41, on December 7 before being shot dead by Israeli occupation forces.
The December incident occurred near the flashpoint holy site, the Ibrahimi Mosque, according to Zionist media.
Occupation authorities regularly demolish Palestinian homes, but human rights activists say it amounts to collective punishment.
The occupied territories have been, since October 1, rocked by a wave of operations against Zionists in retaliation of the Israeli repressive measures against the Palestinians across the West Bank and especially in al-Quds.
Zionist settlers backed by occupation forces have been repeatedly storming the holy al-Aqsa Mosque, sparking Palestinian anger.
However the occupation forces have been brutally attacking the Palestinians under the pretext of staging stabbing attacks.
The Palestinian operations since the start of October have killed 28 Israelis, while the Israeli occupation forces killed 200 Palestinians.
