Syrian army and Hezbollah fighters regained control of Tallat al-Iss early on Wednesday, as the allied forces firmly decided to hit back at any violation by Takfiri insurgents to cessation of hostilities agreement.
Field sources told al-Manar that the Syrian army and fighters of Lebanese resistance movement, Hezbollah, launched a counter attack on Tallat al-Iss in Aleppo and take control of it.
The so-called Syrian Observatory of Human Rights also reported that the allied forces launched an attack in which air strikes, artillery and rockets were being used.
Joint operations room in Aleppo and its countryside announced that the Syrian army is strongly responding to those who violated the cessation of hostilities agreement in Aleppo.
In a statement, the operations room said that the Syrian army started to target the positions of armed groups in areas south of Aleppo, supported by heavy and concentrated air strikes.
“This fire will proceed until the surrender of all terrorists and the reestablishment of security and stability to the area, the statement added.
