Damascus Countryside
The Syrian army controlled Abu al-Shamat hills in east of al-Dmeir area.
The army’s air force targeted gatherings of ISIL terrorists and their fortifications in al-Dmeir area and east of Tishreen thermal station in Damascus countryside, a military source told SANA on Thursday.
The targeted terrorists suffered heavy losses in the airstrikes and many of their vehicles that were loaded with arms and ammunition were destroyed.
Homs
Positions and vehicles for ISIL terrorists north and east of Palmyra city in Homs countryside were also destroyed.
Deir Ezzor
The army’s air force hit ISIS terrorists’ sites in al-Mrei’iyeh and al-Jafra villages in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor province, destroying vehicles equipped with heavy and medium machine guns and killing a number of terrorists.
Sweida
An army unit destroyed several vehicles for ISIL terrorist organization as it targeted a gathering of its members in Rajm al-Dawleh village in the northeastern countryside of Sweida province. A number of terrorists were killed or injured in the operation.
Aleppo
Army units destroyed sites and vehicles for al-Nusra Front (Qaeda branch in the Levant) terrorists during an operation against their gatherings in al-Eis and Kafar Naha villages in Aleppo province.
The source told SANA that the army also carried out operations against gatherings of ISIL terrorists and their fortified positions in Abu Taltal and al-Madiouniyeh villages in the direction of al-Bab city and in Souran village, in northeastern Aleppo.
During the operations, a number of vehicles, some equipped with machine guns, and positions were destroyed and a number of terrorists were killed.
In the eastern countryside of Aleppo, army operations continued targeting movements and positions of ISIL terrorists in Rasm al-Alam, destroying a number of vehicles and fortified sites.
Army units, in cooperation with popular defense groups, foiled infiltration attempts by ISIS terrorists in the direction of Khanasir, killing many terrorists and destroying their equipment.
In Aleppo city, an army unit killed a number of terrorists from al-Nusra-linked groups in al-Lairamoun area.
