Yemen’s Ansarullah’s revolutionaries and General People’s Congress party (GPC) said they will join talks aimed at ending the country’s conflict in the Kuwaiti capital.

Mahdi al-Mushat, a representative of Ansarullah movement said a delegation representing the revolutionary group and GCP will leave the Yemeni capital on Wednesday.Yemen flag

“We will be leaving tomorrow afternoon, God willing,” Mushat said late on Tuesday, stressing that the United Nationa offered guarantees that the Saudi-led coalition, which has been for bombing Yemen for more than a year, will abide by the ceasefire reached earlier this month on April 10.

"We confirm that we will leave for Kuwait, carrying all the worries, wounds, aspirations and hopes of the great Yemeni people," Yahya Duwaid, a representative of the GCP, wrote on his Facebook account.

Earlier, peace talks which were planned to take place on Monday were delayed after Ansarullah and GPC said they would not join Kuwait talks because the Saudi-led coalition has been going on with its aggression on the Arab impoverished country.

Ansarullah spokesman, Mohammad Abdelsalam said earlier, that the group is committed to peaceful dialogue, stressing that the international community is responsible for the continuation of the aggression because it is not pressing the Saudi-led coalition over the continuous airstikes.

Yemen has been since March 26, 2015 under brutal aggression by Saudi-led coalition.

Thousands have been martyred and injured in the attack, with the vast majority of them are civilians.

Riyadh launched the attack on Yemen in a bid to restore power to fugitive president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi who is a close ally to Saudi Arabia.
