More ISIL and al-Nusra Front (Qaeda branch in the Levant) terrorists are being killed and their vehicles and weapons were destroyed as the army goes on with its intensive operations against their positions and hideouts in various areas, while also thwarting their attacks in others.

Deir Ezzor

The army’s air force targeted gatherings of ISIL terrorists east of Deir Ezzor military airport in the past few hours, killing scores of them and destroying vehicles loaded with arms and equipped with various machineguns, a military source told SANA on Wednesday.

ISIL terrorists suffered heavy losses in army airstrikes launched against their dens and gatherings in al-Bugheiliyeh village in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor province.

In the meantime, a field source said an army unit, in cooperation with the engineering units, carried out yesterday an ambush leading an ISIL group on to a street in al-Sinaa neighborhood in Deir Ezzor city after planting the street with landmines and bombs.

The bombs were then detonated, leaving at least 75 terrorists dead, who included foreigners, in addition to destroying their arms, equipment and a cannon.

Army units also destroyed a position for ISIL terrorists in al-Hweiqa neighborhood and vehicle equipped with a rocket launching pad in al-Jubeiliyeh neighborhood.

Aleppo

Army units destroyed vehicles and sites of Nusra during concentrated strikes against their gatherings and fortified sites in Orum al-Sughra, Kafar A’ma and Zitan villages to the south of Aleppo city.

The army’s operations continued against terrorists’ gatherings and supply routes in Bayanoun town to the northwest of Aleppo, destroying terrorists’ vehicles.

In the eastern countryside of Aleppo, an army unit destroyed ISIL sites in Abu Jabar village in Kweiris area.

In Aleppo city, an army unit killed number of al-Nusra terrorists during accurate operation against their dens in al-Saliheen neighborhood.

Homs

An army unit carried out on Wednesday morning a series of intensive operations targeting ISIL sites to the north and east of Palmyra city in Homs countryside.

According to the source, the operations resulted in destroying fortifications for ISIL terrorists and a number of vehicles near the stores site to the north of Palmyra, in addition to the death of many terrorists.

Daraa

An army unit thwarted an attack by al-Nusra terrorists on a military post on the southern outskirts of al-Menshiyeh neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad area in Daraa city.

The army unit clashed with the terrorists who infiltrated towards the military post, killing a number of them and destroying their weapons before the rest fled.

In the context of the ceasefire, 250 persons will be evacuated from Madaya and a similar number of locals will be allowed to leave Foaa and Kefraya in Idleb countryside.
