Syrian Foreign Minister, Walid al-Moallem told an Algerian minister that the two countries have been for years facing common challenges.
Moallem remarks came as he received visiting Minister for Maghreb, African and Arab League affairs Abdul-Qader Msahel, in Damascus.
"Historically, Syria and Algeria have face common challenges, starting from confronting colonization, independence and building the state, and not ending nowadays with countering terrorism, its sponsors and the foreign interference," Moallem told Msahel.
