Commenting on the UN report on the Zionist aggression against the Freedom Flotilla, and the UN shameful position towards the Gaza blockade, Hezbollah said it was not surprised by the report.

Hezbollah strongly critisized the UN report on the Zionist aggression against the Freedom Flotilla, and the UN shameful position towards the Gaza blockade.

"Nothing new in the UN report on the Zionist aggression against the Freedom Flotilla, which killed nine Turkish people," Hezbollah's statement read.

"We were not surprised by the report which rudely justifies and legitimizes the Siege of Gaza. No actual UN convictions against the Zionist crimes were issued, and the international organization does not usually follow up any of its resolutions against Israel, if any," the statement added.

Hezbollah believed the report "confirms for the umpteenth time that these organizations are biased to the enemy, and are not intended to give rights to their rightful owners, be it the countries and the governments of the region, or their peoples."

"All states should realize that the major and actual interest lies in that regional countries should take the initiative to solve their own problems, without resorting to international bodies and organizations, which have become the fixed platform that serves “Israel” and its interests in the region," Hezbollah's statement concluded.
