Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei said Islamophobia, Iranophobia and confronting Shiism are the definite policies the US has been pursuing.

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei said Islamophobia, Iranophobia and confronting Shiism are the definite policies the US has been pursuing.

Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks during a meeting with a number of senior officials of the country, ambassadors of the Islamic countries in Iran and people from different strata on Thursday.

The meeting was held to mark the anniversary of the auspicious occasion of Eid ul-Mabath, the day when Prophet Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was appointed as the messenger of Allah.

Referring to the recent allegations made by US that Iran’s policies in the region triggered the wave of sanctions and confrontations with the country, the leader said this is absolute ignorance.

Ayatollah Khamenei further stressed that humanity today, more than any other time in the history is in need of a true understanding of the meaning and truth of "Be that" of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

On the opposite side of "Be that" is ignorance, said the Supreme Leader stressing that ignorance is still running high today, just the same way the notion of "Be that" is still alive.
