Syrian Army air force on Sunday destroyed a number of ISIL vehicles and hideouts, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorist organization’s members in Deir-Ezzor and Homs provinces, SANA news agency reported.
The Air Force destroyed vehicles of ISIL terrorist organization equipped with machineguns in the areas of al- Kassarat and al-Mrei’ya in the eastern province of Deir-Ezzor, a military source told SANA.
Dozens of the terrorists were killed in the army’s raids, according to the source.
In Homs, the Syrian army air force carried out intensive sorties against gatherings of ISIL terrorists in the countryside of Homs and Hama provinces.
The sorties were carried out to the east of Jazel oil field and to the north and west of al-Muhr gas field and to the west of al-Muhr station in the eastern countryside of Homs province, adding that scores of the ISIL vehicles were destroyed.
The same took place in Hama where the army air force destroyed a convoy of the ISIL vehicles in Maqla’a al-Wdaihi in the vicinity of Oqairibat village, 40 km to the east of Hama city.
In the same context, two of the terrorists’ vehicles and a workshop for manufacturing rocket and mortar shells were destroyed in operations carried out by the army and the armed forces against the Takfiri terrorism in Daraa southern province.
A unit of the army carried out a precise operation against dens of al-Nusra terrorist organization and the armed groups affiliated to it in the neighborhood of al-Abbasyia in Daraa al-Balad.
A workshop for manufacturing shells was destroyed in the operation and a number of terrorists were killed including one of the field commanders of the so-called “Tawheed al-Janoub brigade”, terrorist Ahmed Fou’ad al-Masalma.
In the northeastern countryside of the province, a unit of the army destroyed gatherings and two machinegun-equipped vehicles belonging to al-Nusra terrorists in Toloul Khalif and Tal al-Sheikh Hussein.
