The Syrian Army and Air Force on Tuesday continued to target positions and vehicles of the terrorist organizations in different areas across the country, destroying their vehicles and inflicting heavy losses upon them in the personnel and equipment.
Daraa
An army unit destroyed vehicles of al-Nusra Front (Qaeda branch in the Levant) terrorists in the countryside of Daraa southern province.
A military source told SANA that an army unit monitored the movement of a convoy of al-Nusra vehicles that was moving towards the villages and towns of the western countryside.
The source added that intensive bombardments were carried out as scores of the terrorists’ vehicles were destroyed on the road linking al-Jumrouk al-Qadim in Daraa al-Balad area with Nassib town.
Later, the source said that an army unit eliminated 6 terrorists from al-Nusra including Hussein Hani Shihab in al-Yadouda town in the province’s northwestern countryside.
Homs
The Syrian Air Force carried out airstrikes against gatherings and movements of ISIL terrorists in the countryside of Homs central province.
The Air Force destroyed machinegun-equipped vehicles belonging to ISIL terrorist organization in sorties against their gatherings and movements to the west of al-Muhr oil field, in the surroundings of Jazel oil field and in Khnefees village in the countryside of Palmyra.
Vehicles and fortified position of ISIL terrorists were destroyed and a number of them were killed in an airstrike that targeted their dens in the surroundings of Hueisees village, 77 km to the east of Homs City.
Hama
Meanwhile in Hama countryside, the Air Force destroyed a convoy of ISIL vehicles near the entrance of Oqairibat town, about 20 km to the east of Salamyia City.
Sweida
An army unit destroyed a car transporting ISIL terrorists in Saad village in the northeastern countryside of Sweida province, a military source told SANA.
