Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier-General Hussein Dehqan said on Saturday that blood of martyr Badreddine and other martyrs of resistance movement to Israeli occupation and ISIL terrorist group will uproot terrorism from the region.

He made the remarks in a message to Secretary General of Lebanese Hezbollah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah to offer his condolences on martyrdom of top commander Mustafa Badreddine.

Dehqan said that ISIL supporters, including the US, the Zionist regime and certain betraying regimes of the Islamic Ummah in the region who see failure of their ominous plans are trying to prevent defeat of terrorists.

He prayed to God Almighty to bestow peace upon soul of Martyr Badreddin known as 'Zulfikar' and patience to his family.

Lebanese Hezbollah in a statement on Saturday said that artillery rounds on Hezbollah center close to Damascus Airport fired by Takfiri group Friday killed commander Mustafa Badreddine.
