Kuwaiti Emir Sabah Al-Ahmad Jaber Al-Sabah urged on Wednesday the governmental and the Houthi delegations to continue the talks that are being hosted in Kuwait.
Media reports mentioned that Al-Sabah met with the Un envoy Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed and the heads of the two delegations separately to be briefed on the latest developments related to the talks.
The Saudi-backed, governmental delegation had withdrawn from the talks on Tuesday, which pushed the member of the Houthi delegation Hamza Al-Houthi to say that the withdrawal decision is illogical and inexcusable.
Houthi also demanded the Saudi-backed delegation to stick to the peace and partnership agreement, UNSC resolution and the Gulf initiative.
