Although officials told passengers there was no threat to their safety, confused people have complained online after they were told they had to leave departure lounges.

Initial reports around 12.30pm revealed that would-be passengers were being told of a security incident.

There were conflicting reports over how the evacuation was handled, with one passenger remarking that it was "pandemonium".
