Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Hussein Jaberi-Ansari said on Friday that Iraqi nation does not need the biggest supporter of instability and terrorism in Iraq, region and world to tell them who their friend or foe is.
He made the remarks in reaction to anti-Iran statements of Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir on Iran-Iraq relations.
Ansari said that the Iranian military advisors are in Iraq under Major General Qassem Suleimani on the request of the legal government of Iraq to fight terrorists and extremists which have made the country insecure and unstable.
Ansari called on al-Jubeir to abandon deceiving public opinion and not to forget that his country is currently considered as the most dangerous supporter of terrorism and instability in the international scene.
In an interview with Russia Today on Thursday, Al-Jubeir claimed that Iran is interfering in Iraq's internal affairs.
