Yemeni sources said Mohammad Abdul Salam and Aref Zouka, representing the national delegation, met with Ould Cheikh in Bayan palace in Kuwait.
They protested the intensified airstrike on an army brigade in Amran governorate, the sources said, noting that the number of air strikes exceeded 50 in about 24 hours.
The airstrikes are dangerous escalation by Saudi-led coalition, the head of truce and cooperation committee in the national delegation, Yahya Sareea said, noting that the move could threaten the talks.
The Saudi-led coalition bears responsibility for the repercussions of this escalation, Sareea said, according to the sources.
Yemen has been since March 26, 2015 under brutal aggression by Saudi-led coalition.
Thousands have been martyred and injured in the attack, with the vast majority of them are civilians.
Riyadh launched the attack on Yemen in a bid to restore power to fugitive Hadi who is a close ally to Saudi Arabia.
