Spokesman of Yemen's Ansarullah movement Mohammad Abdol Salam asserted that forming national unity cabinet requires international guarantees according to which the fugitive president Mansour Hadi takes a neutral political position during the transitional period.

Abdol Salam, who heads the national delegation to Yemeni talks in Kuwait, pointed out the hostages file has witnessed a remarkable progress, adding that the battlefield issues will be easily settled.

The popular forces may join the regular army, Abdol Salam also revealed.

Yemen has been since March 26, 2015 under brutal aggression by Saudi-led coalition.

Thousands have been martyred and injured in the attack, with the vast majority of them are civilians.

Riyadh launched the attack on Yemen in a bid to restore power to fugitive Hadi who is a close ally to Saudi Arabia.
