Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, insisted on confronting the hostile positions of the United States, stressing that the enemy plots against the Islamic revolution internationally, regionally and locally.

As his eminence received the speaker and members of Iran's 10th parliament on Sunday, Imam Khamenei stressed that the US policy in the region has failed because of the steadfastness of the Islamic revolution, noting that the enemy's plots nowadays are the same which was previously known as "new Middle east".

Meanwhile, the Leader warned that the enemies confront the Islamic revolution economically, highlighting the importance developing an “economy of resistance” in the face of foreign restrictions, centered on domestic production.

“We have to look at each government move in the economic field and see where it lies at the chart of the 'economy of resistance',” his eminence said in Tehran on Sunday.

Imam Khamenei said, “Economy is the main issue in the country and we have to solve it.”

“Domestic production is the cure for recession while creating jobs is important,” said the Leader.

“The shame this humble body of mine feels on seeing an unemployed youth go home empty handed is no less than his,” his emincne added.
