Bahraini appeal court upheld on Monday the verdicts to revoke the citizenship of 11 people and jail them for a period from 10 to 15 years.
It is noteworthy that the convicted were among 13 people charged of 'forming a group to target the Saudi embassy,' as claimed by the regime.
High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Raad criticized the continuing human rights violations in Bahrain, confirming that the regime stripped at least 250 people of their citizenship.
Raad added that freedom of speech in Bahrain is quite restricted, noting that dozens of citizens have been arrested for participating in peaceful protests.
