Lebanese Army Command's Guidance Directorate on Friday issued a statement saying that the two Turkish boats that entered Lebanon few days ago were legal and not carrying prohibited materials, explaining that the army's inspections on the boats came in the context of military routine measures in seaports.
The Lebanese Army took tight security measures in Tripoli seaport and cordoned off two vessels coming from Turkey carrying trucks loaded with various Turkish goods, NNA reported on Thursday.
