Yemne's Ansarullah revolutionary movement denounced UN Envoy's stance from forming a political council, stressing that the UN must assume its responsibility in defending Yemen against massacres carried out by Saudi-led Coalition.
Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed had better to be concerned about massacres committed by Saudi-led coalition rather than a political council announced by united national parties in Yemen, head of Ansarullah politburo Saleh al-Sammad wrote on his Facebook page on Thursday.
Earlier on Thursday, Ansarullah and former President Ali Abdullah Saleh's party announced the formation of a supreme political council to run the country at a time Yemen is subjected to brutal aggression by Saudi-led coalition.
Shortly after the announcement, Ould Cheikh Ahmed said the move undermines peace talks already talking place in Kuwait and brokered by the UN.
Sammad found odd that the UN envoy was concerned about the formation of the political council but was not concerned about the shameful massacres in Sarari and other towns which were carried out by the Saudi-led aggression.
