Britain's involvement in the Zionist entity's nuclear arsenal is one of the topics among more than 400 documents are missing from the United Kingdom's national archive, reports say.

The Independent cited a response to a Freedom of Information request, that important files missing include a so-called nuclear collaboration with Israel in the 1970s and a letter from Winston Churchill.UK National archive

The BBC quoted an unidentified British lawmaker as expressing concern about the loss. It said 402 historical files were unaccounted for since January 2012.

Missing among these papers is a Foreign Office filed from 1979 called "military and nuclear collaboration with Israel: Israel nuclear armament," the BBC reported.

The report said the missing file is likely related to a United Nations resolution with the same headline, about "increasing evidence" of the country's efforts to acquire atomic weapons.

Another missing document is a letter from Winston Churchill regarding his memoirs, from October 1947, according to the BBC .

The National Archives in Kew, London, contain more than 11 million official documents. Many are made available to the public after 30 years.
