They also stormed Qubbat al-Sakhra (Dome of the rock) and the archeologist took photos for the site, the sources added.Islamic Endowments in al-Quds sources reported that the settlers were accompanied with an archaeological guide.

Earlier on Sunday the settlers led by archaeological and historical guides, toured the Al- Aqsa  compound and took some photos for different places in the holy mosque.

Occupation forces clashed with Palestinian worshippers on Sunday, who tried to defend al-Aqsa mosque. The IOF detained mosque guard Luay Abu-Saadi Palestinian media reported.
