After they have failed to break siege imposed by the Syrian army against terrorists in Aleppo, Takfiri insurgents announced on Monday the launch of a new battle.
An alliance of terrorist factions, including Nusra Front and “Jaish al-Fath” announced “Army of Conquest.”
“We announce the start of a new phase to liberate all of Aleppo,” the terrorists said in a statement.
But the Lebanese resistance’s Military Media assured that since morning hours no attack was recorded by the terrorists at any post in Aleppo.
Earlier on Sunday, activists close to Syria-based Takfiris claimed the terrorists managed to break the siege on Aleppo. Meanwhile, Military Media said the insurgents opened a narrow passage towards the eastern side of Aleppo, stressing that such passage was not secured and controlled by Syrian fire.
The Military Media also stressed that heavy losses were inflicted upon the terrorists, noting that dozens of terrorists’ bodies laid in Aleppo’s south and southwest following fierce battles with the Syrian army and its allies, Hezbollah fighters and the Russian air force.
Meanwhile on Monday, the Military Media denied as baseless reports by terrorist organizations that a building in Radio neighborhood was bombed.
The Military Media also said that food and fuel was delivered to residential areas in Aleppo.
2,000 Terrorists Killed
For his part, Iranian political analyst Mohamamd Sadeq al-Husseini stressed that what has been circulated that the terrorists managed to break Aleppo siege was not true, noting that such news are just aimed at raising the morals of the insurgents.
Terrorists managed to open a very small passage in Aleppo, but the Syrian army and its allies will soon deal with this passage and it’s controlled by the Syrian fire, Husseini said.
During a week of fighting Aleppo, 2,000 terrorists were killed in battles, Husseini added.
