Quneitra Governor Ahmad Sheikh Abdul-Qader called on all those involved in the events and who took up arms against the state to turn themselves and their weapons in to authorities to have their legal status settled directly, according to SANA.
Hanaa al-Seid, the Chairperson of the Subcommittee for national reconciliation in Quneitra pointed out that that the committee is working with the authorities concerned and local associations to activate local reconciliations and communicate with those who were misled to convince them to settle their legal status and to benefit from the recently issued Amnesty Decree.
