The powerful photo of a little Syrian boy Omar Danqeesh had dominated world's headlines last week.
The heartbreaking photo of the five-year-old boy who was covered with dust and with blood on his face drew the world's attention and went viral on social media.
Few weeks earlier, another Syrian boy, Abdullah Issa, 12, was brutally slaughtered by the US-backed Nour al-Din al-Zenki terrorists.
Although the horrifying act was filmed and the killers were impudently taking selfies in front of the frightened boy who was begging the militants to shoot him instead of cutting off his head, the photo was not circulated on social media in the same way done with Omran's photo.
In the video below, the Syrian-Australian blogger Maram Susli, 28, tells the real story behind Abdullah Issa who was abducted by the terrorists from Handarat camp in Aleppo.
Susli, who goes by Mimi Al Laham or 'Syrian Girl' lives in Australia and has a large and like-minded following on social media.
Her YouTube channel has received more than 2.5 million views and she says she speaks out on social media because she is dismayed by watching her birth country being destroyed.
