Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Al-Moallem met Saturday with the Foreign Ministers of Lebanon, Argentina, and Kazakhstan, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting.

Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Al-Moallem met Saturday with the Foreign Ministers of Lebanon, Argentina, and Kazakhstan, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting, the official Syrian News Agency SANA reported.

Al-Moallem emphasized during the meeting that Syria will come out of the crisis stronger than before, and assured that his country is determined to continue the national dialogue and go ahead with the reforms that President Bashar Al-Assad proposed.

The Syrian FM further indicated that “the fierce misleading media campaign and attempts of foreign interference, that Syria is being exposed to, aim at undermining the country's safety and stability and pressuring Syria's independent political decision.”

In parallel, SANA reported that Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour stressed during the meeting the deep-rooted relations between Syria and Lebanon, reiterating Lebanon's support to Syria and rejection of any action at the UN Security Council that aim at interfering in the Syrian affairs.

The Syrian news agency also reported that the Syrian FM and his Argentinean and Kazakh counterparts emphasized their countries’ united stance that rejects any attempt of foreign interference in internal affairs.
