MP Mohamad Raad warns Arab Spring may become victim to attempts to employ movement
The head of the Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc in Lebanon warned on Saturday that the Arab Spring may become victim to attempts by world powers to employ the movement for their own interests.
He said during a student graduation ceremony that the time of depending on foreign forces is over and the spirit of Resistance is growing stronger. "No one can twist the arm of this spirit," Raad stated.
The Hezbollah lawmaker expressed regret because some local or regional forces are eager to join these attempts than the actual powers themselves. "These forces have linked their fate to foreign ones in a hope that they would be granted global powers," he added.
Raad said that the Zionist enemy was scared of entering a confrontation with the Resistance because the Israelis know that the Resistance is strong and that it is aware of their weaknesses.
