Iran, Italy Sign 7 Agreements on Archeology

Seven agreements were signed in Tehran on Sunday by Iran and Italy on the field of archeology.

Seven agreements were signed in Tehran on Sunday by Iran and Italy on archeology, said Mohammad Reza Bazrgar, Head of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization's Research Center.

He signed the agreements in a meeting with Carlo Cherti, cultural Attache of the Italian Embassy In Tehran in order to expand scientific and research cooperation between his center and Italian universities in the field of archeology.

Based on the agreements, seven Italian universities and scientific and research institutes are due to conduct research in Iranian archeological sites.

Acording to Bazrgar, the researchers will do their researches in Persepolis, Bishabour, Jiroft, Estakhr ancient city, burned city, North Khorasan province and historical site of Izeh.
