Sayyed Khamenei: Iran Never Yields to Blackmail

Despite growing military threats, Iran will never yield one step and will firmly resist against such blackmail without any considerations

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei said on Monday morning that despite growing military threats and political pressure by the enemy, Iran will never yield one step and will firmly resist against such blackmail without any considerations.

Addressing a massive crowd of joyous people in the predominantly Kurdish city of Paveh in Western Iran, the Leader also cautioned that the enemy is bent on sowing discord among Muslims and one of their means of making such evil efforts is to invest in differences between Shia and Sunni schools of thought.

Ayatollah Khamenei reiterated that the enemy is making huge efforts to highlight minor differences and undermine the many shared values and beliefs that exist amongst us.

The Leader also reminded the people of Paveh and the surrounding towns, who mostly follow the Sunni school of thought that enemies of Shia and Sunni are one, since our principles and moral objectives are intertwined.

He said that the Islamic Republic has succeeded in thwarting all plots against Shia and Sunni Muslims over the past 32 years.

The Leader noted that the enemy is not interested in unity between Shias and Sunnis. However, Muslim people have slapped the enemy in the face through their unity, integrity and friendship.

Ayatollah Khamenei also stated that if Iranians complement their loyalty to Islam with prudence, then they can be looked up to as a model.

If other nations utilize the 32-year experience of the Iranian people, said the Leader, it would then be beneficial to Iranians as well as regional countries to establish a united Muslim nation.

Ayatollah Khamenei is currently on a tour of the Kermanshah Province in western Iran and has been warmly welcomed by overwhelmingly excited crowds of people in the region.
