Development and Liberation bloc MP Ali Khreiss on Monday called on the Libyan National Transitional Council “to give priority to the case of the disappearance of cleric Imam Sayyed Moussa Sadr.”
“Dealing seriously with this issue is the basis for ties between Lebanon and Libya,” the National News Agency quoted him as saying.
Imam Sadr and his companions disappeared in 1978 in Libya. Lebanon have accused former Libyan leader Moammar Gaddafi of being behind his disappearance.
