Israel Closes Hamas, PFLP Offices in East Al-Quds

Israeli police officials claimed the offices were “suspected of being used by Hamas and the PFLP”

Israel has closed down two offices in East al-Quds (Jerusalem) on Tuesday which were allegedly being used by the Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), AFP reported.

One of the offices is in the northern Dahiyat al-Barid neighborhood, while the other is located in the northeastern area of Shuafat.

The offices were ordered closed for one month, according to Israeli officials.

In May, Israeli police closed down another office in East al-Quds, under the pretext that it was being used by Hamas.

The Israeli regime occupied East al-Quds during the Six Day War of 1967.
