Bahraini forces attacked mourners who took part in the funeal of elderly man who was martyred after being beaten by security forces.

Bahraini security forces attacked on Friday mourners who took part in the funeal of elderly Hajj Ali Hasan al-Dehi, the father of Shiekh Hussein al-Dehi the second in command of Bahrain's largest opposition group Al-Wefaq. Hajj Ali al-Dehi was martyred on Thursday, a day after he was beaten by security forces.

Meanwhile, high cleric Sheikh Issa Qassem stressed that the solution for the Bahraini crisis "comes through listening to the people's will", assuring that the peaceful rallies would go on.
