Security forces in Gaza said 'Israeli' fighter jets pounded areas near the enclave's southern city of Khan Yunis.

On Thursday, Palestinian resistance fighters confronted a number of IOF soldiers who had entered the northern town of Beit Lahiya and attacked the people there.

The resistance fighters retaliated to the enemy fire but later the invaders called on military helicopters, which bombed the Palestinians.

Two Palestinians were killed by Zionist helicopter fire, according to hospital officials and medics in Gaza.

Since last weekend, at least 12 people have been killed by enemy strikes against the Gaza Strip.
