The Syrian television reported that “1180 prisoners who were involved in the latest crisis, but did not have blood on their hands, were released.”

In parallel, a human rights organization reported that clashes took place Tuesday morning between the army and a group of militants, which led to the death and injury of 19 soldiers.

Moreover, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that is based in London stated that “three explosions hit military vehicles for the Syrian army in Edleb, North Syria.”

“Explosions shook Zamalke, Hamuriya, Douma, Harasta and we have confirmed reports that the headquarters of the security services in Harasta was hit,” the organization added in a statement it issued.

The Syrian Observatory Chief Rami Abdul Rahman was quoted by AFP as saying that “five members of the Security Forces and the Syrian Army were martyred while clashing with militants in Daraa.”
