Bahraini Regime forces attacked a funeral procession in the island of Sitra, injuring dozens of people.
Prominent opposition group, al-Wefaq, said dozens were wounded when security forces brutally attacked a funeral procession for a 16-year-old protester who was martyred earlier after a police vehicle ran over him during an anti-regime demonstration.
Ali Youssef Bagdar, from Sitra, died due to injuries sustained after being pinned under the police car before it crashed into a wall in the Juffair area of the capital Manama.
Authorities claimed the driver “lost control” after hitting a patch of oil in the narrow village street. Protesters assured that the police car intentionally attempted to run them over.

Al-Wefaq also said the security forces raided several other villages on Saturday.
The Kingdom has witnessed peaceful anti-government rallies since mid-February, demanding an end to the Al Khalifa's over-40-year-long rule over the Persian Gulf Island.
Scores of people have been killed and hundreds more arrested in a brutal Manama-ordered and Riyadh-backed crackdown in the country.
The latest demonstration comes as naval forces of Bahrain and the US begin joint military maneuvers in the Persian Gulf, diverting international attention from the persisting suppression of peaceful anti-government protests.
