Larijani said Iran’s continued cooperation with the IAEA will depend on the agency’s attitude
Iran's Majlis (parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani said Sunday Iran's continued cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will depend on the agency's attitude.
Larijani told reporters that the Majlis Committee on National Security and Foreign Policy will discuss a plan to make a revision in ties between Iran and the nuclear agency.
He dismissed as “unreal” the latest report by IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano and stressed that Iran should adopt necessary measures to disseminate information and enlighten the world public opinion, IRNA reported.
Although, Iran has “constant and proper” cooperation with the IAEA, the agency has failed to abide by its legal duties, Larijani emphasized. He reiterated that Tehran will make necessary decisions if the nuclear supervisory body seeks to breach Iran's rights as an IAEA member state.
